Questions, answered.
What is Authyo OTP for Ninja Forms?
A WordPress plugin that adds a custom Authyo OTP field to Ninja Forms, so visitors verify with a one-time code before they can submit.
Does it require Ninja Forms?
Yes. It works inside the Ninja Forms builder, so Ninja Forms must be installed and active. You also need an Authyo account.
How do I add OTP to a form?
Install and connect Authyo, add the Authyo OTP field to your Ninja Forms form, then enable OTP verification for that form.
Which verification method is used?
Email OTP. Visitors receive a code at their email address and enter it in the form.
Can I change the OTP length and expiry?
Yes. OTP length and expiry are configurable, so you can match each form's needs.
What is Fail-Safe protection?
If Authyo isn't configured, or the wallet balance is exhausted, the form can continue without OTP verification, so you don't lose submissions.
Is the OTP stored permanently?
No. Temporary verification data may be kept using WordPress transients, and the OTP itself isn't stored permanently. Verification runs through the Authyo API.
Can I enable OTP on only some forms?
Yes. Verification is controlled per form, so you can turn it on only where you need it.
Are there hooks and filters for developers?
Yes. The plugin exposes WordPress hooks and filters to extend or customise verification behaviour. See the plugin documentation for details.
Do I need an Authyo account?
Yes. The plugin connects to Authyo to generate and verify OTPs, and uses your Authyo wallet balance.
