Does Authyo OTP work with Forminator?
Yes. Authyo OTP for Forminator Form is an add-on that adds Authyo Email and Authyo Phone verification to your Forminator forms. It works with all Forminator form types.
Which OTP channels are supported?
Email, SMS, WhatsApp and Voice Call.
Can visitors choose how they receive their OTP?
Yes. With visitor channel choice, users can select their preferred verification method.
Can I turn verification on for specific forms only?
Yes. You can enable or disable verification individually on each Forminator form.
How do I add it to a form?
Add an Authyo Email or Authyo Phone field to your Forminator form and note its element ID. Then insert the Authyo shortcode in an HTML field with the field reference, save and publish.
What happens if my wallet runs out or the API is unavailable?
Smart Fallback automatically marks the form field as verified, so genuine visitors aren’t blocked and you don’t lose leads. While Authyo is available and your wallet has balance, OTP validation is enforced.
Is any OTP data stored?
No OTP data is stored permanently by the plugin. Email addresses and phone numbers are sent to the Authyo API in real time to send and verify OTPs.
Does it support international phone numbers?
Yes. A built-in country list provides global phone coverage.
Can users skip verification?
There is an optional Skip Verification setting, available per channel, for forms where OTP isn’t required.
Is an Authyo account required?
Yes. You need an Authyo account with a valid API key.
What are the requirements?
Forminator must be installed and active, along with WordPress 6.1 or higher and PHP 7.4 or higher.
Can I see which submissions were verified?
Yes. The Leads Manager shows verified submissions from your WordPress admin.
